Matchmaking (Executive Plan)

We recommend that all singles looking for a match start with our Executive Membership, as it’s our most popular option. Sign up for a consultation so we can get to know you personally—that way we’ll have a better sense of who you are and who you’re looking for. Your matchmaker will search to see if there is a match within the continuously growing database. If that does not work they go searching on your behalf through their matchmaking networks. Executive members pay a $4,000 registration fee, which includes, 3 guaranteed matches, 1 coaching session with Laura Bilotta and a copy of her dating advice book, a complimentary speed dating event and feedback after every date.

Sometimes finding the best match for you takes time. We continuously strive to ensure our matchmaking database is growing and expanding with new, quality matches and are committed to finding you someone we think you could have a potential love match with. At the same time, we won’t set you up with a match unless we feel confident in the success rate. Before signing up please read the Matchmaking Q&A at the bottom of this page.

Matchmaking (Executive) Q&A

1. Are you a good fit for Single In The City’s executive matchmaking service?

That all depends on who you are and what you are looking for. If matchmaker, Laura, feels you are a good fit and that there will be matches in the database, then you will definitely be considered as a good fit for SITC.

2. What happens if I don’t get accepted into the executive membership level?

Don’t worry! As soon as you pay the registration fee and meet up with matchmaker Laura Bilotta, you will then be enrolled in our service. If you aren’t a good fit for our executive level, you’ll automatically be a part of our premiere service.

3. What is the $199 registration cost for?

The $199 is your matchmaking consultation fee. It’s paid by all premiere & executive participants who enrol in the program. This fee ensures that you are serious about participating and goes towards the matchmaker’s time & travel expenses to meet you. It takes time and effort for our matchmaker to process your file and meet for the interview. We want to make sure all registered clients feel genuinely about the program. Interviews take place in Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton.

Please note, once you are sent the form to fill out, this fee is non-refundable. Along with your consultation fee, you will receive a FREE Speed Dating Event credit and a copy of Laura’s book.

4. How many dates will I get?

Laura Bilotta will personally meet with you and search proactively on your behalf for 1 year. We guarantee unlimited introductions until you’re married or in a committed relationship, or a minimum of 6 dates (whichever comes first.)

The number you receive will be based on your match-ability, and how specific you are about what you are looking for. We will set you up on one date at a time. Hopefully the first meeting goes well and we don’t have to set you up on another!

5. Do I pay any additional costs over the $199 registration?

After the initial meeting, Matchmaker Laura will propose costs factoring in other services that are suggested at the meeting. If Laura has recommendations for you that will increase your chances of being matched, this will be addressed in that initial meeting. For every date that we find you, that you agree to and we set up, you will be charged an additional $50 service cost. If you reject a potential meet-up, you are not charged. (Up to three rejections in a row.)After the initial meeting, Matchmaker Laura will propose costs factoring in other services that are suggested at the meeting. If Laura has recommendations for you that will increase your chances of being matched, this will be addressed in that initial meeting. For every date that we find you, that you agree to and we set up, you will be charged an additional $50 service cost. If you reject a potential meet-up, you are not charged. 6. What if I meet someone and want to cancel my membership?

Call or email your matchmaker to let them know that you would like to be put on hold. If you are on hold for more than 6 months, your matchmaker will remove you from the program and assume you are in a happy relationship!

7. When will I meet Laura?

After you’ve completely filled out your profile and have emailed us your availability then your matchmaker will reach out to set up a meeting. Laura is generally booked over a week in advance so depending on your flexibility and location you will be meeting your matchmaker a week or two after you’ve informed us of your availability.

8. How long is the membership?

It is a one year membership.

9. Where will I meet my matchmaker?

Matchmaker Laura, meet clients most days, evenings and weekends in Oakville. We can also meet on select other days/evenings in Toronto — these book up quickly and are subject to availability. All of our meeting locations are predetermined, we do not come to you. A date & time to meet are arranged once payment is received and your profile has been filled out.
