This casual activity brings together local singles in an exciting game designed to create a setting of genuine urban adventure. The game is called Unlockthecity and it’s the best way to meet new people and explore the city.
The game is 4 hour adventure of Toronto played by teams of 4 players. Teams must find up to 20 unique urban locations and solve clues for a chance to win great prizes. Unlockthecity is NOT a race where all players start and finish at the same time. Unlockthecity is a game that helps people connect with the city and each other. Teams are allowed to travel by TTC, Uber, or walk. Walking is certainly the most efficient method of travel.
This is going to be fast and fun experience for an exclusive group of players who’ll compose their own teams. Refreshments will be provided along the way and top teams will achieve success by reaching the finish location with the MOST points in the LEAST time. Every has four players and each player has a role and key function in success. The Captain is responsible for safety and morale. The Navigator, time-keeping and travel strategy. The Tech is responsible for social media and image narration while the Controller functions as the co-captain, back-up and resource manager.
The intrinsic value of the game is it’s unique method of experiential learning about locations and hidden gems related to recreation, self-care, entertainment, unique food experiences and the local social scene. The extrinsic value is found in the chance to win great prizes ranging from spa treatments, Via Rail Travel vouchers, Totum Life Science gym memberships and other fabulous prize packages. Winners are announced on our social media 12 hours after game.
