Engaged Peyton Wright

For those of you who are still watching this season of The Bachelorette (meaning those of you who are not fully irritated by hearing the name Bentley over and over again!) it strongly appears Ashley Hebert may not find her husband this time around either, she’s been too busy obsessing over what she can’t have or whether or not she’s “likeable” (come on ladies like we have never done that).

Now of course, given the history of the show this is not a huge shocker – show results have only brought forth two marriages and maybe a couple long term relationships at best. For those of you who like the drama you will be more than happy to know that another season of the Bachelor Pad is airing soon. The Bachelor Pad features the most insane and attractive of past Bachelor and Bachelorette cast members. To compare, it’s kind of like watching a car accident: you don’t want to look, but you do.

Word is also out that some past show cast-off’s may have found love. Chris Lambton and Peyton Wright are engaged, Life & Style reports, and both Chris Lambton’s and Peyton Wright’s Twitter accounts confirm, as well as this shot of Peyton with a lovely engagement ring on her finger to the left.

He was the fan favorite and runner-up on The Bachelorette season 6 with Ali Fedotowsky, whose time on the show was so heart-warming that a rainbow literally appeared as she was sent home. She’s the sweet Southern gal whom bachelor Andy Baldwin deserted on an aircraft carrier and was one of the few voices of reason last season on Bachelor Pad. When they began dating last summer, Chris said they’d been introduced via his Bachelorette co-star and Peyton’s Bachelor Pad co-star Jesse Beck.

Some other happy couples currently include Deanna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano, Jesse Csincsak (Deanna’s ex) and Ann Lueders and Tara Durr and John Presser (who are they?). So it turns out that getting dumped off the show is more likely to lead you to love than actually being the “Bachelor” or “Bachelorette” – go figure.

Question of the day: What is your opinion on finding love through TV shows?
