Trivia Night for Singles

Single in the City presents Trivia Night for Singles, a unique format mixer shaped around two dozen interesting trivia questions on every subject from agriculture to zoology.

Unlike other Trivia Nights, which are predominantly team-building activities, our Trivia Night for Singles encourages mingling while showcasing individual success.  Trivia Night for Singles is a bit like musical chairs in the way our players are cycled about the room from start to finish. Regardless of who sits beside who at any one time, quiet discussions are encouraged. Our Singles don’t have to find consensus with their tablemates but can still benefit from whispered conversations with strangers. They can share knowledge or receive another’s wisdom as though they’re teammates, but they’ll write whatever answer they think is best on their own sheet.

There are twenty-four questions split into six rounds of four questions each. This schedule offers plenty of breaks and lots of time to get to know everyone. After all the questions are asked and the sheets are completed, collected and scored, prizes are awarded to the highest-scoring male and female participants.

• Once a ticket is purchased for this activity, there will be no refunds issued. Tickets are transferrable.
• If a cancellation is made due to weather conditions no refund will be issued, and a credit will be applied toward another event.
• Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; by attending this event, you knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.

• Assumption of Risk: Participants assume all risks associated with attending the event and acknowledge that the event organizers and their representatives are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or damages that may occur as a result of their participation.
• We don’t guarantee an equal number of men and women at this event
• Single in the City isn’t liable for guests’ behaviour at this event, please drink responsibly
• In order to receive your receipts/confirmations from SITC, please be sure to add us to your Safe or Allow list by accepting all emails that end in @singleinthecity.ca otherwise you may not receive our emails due to high potency spam blockers by your service provider.
• Cancellations for this event must be made 5 business days prior to an event in order to receive a credit. We do not credit or refund for illness or last-minute cancellations, however, tickets can be transferred to another person (for same event only). We do not offer refunds for cancellations.
